R-I-O-T

     Fight the oppressors
     Freedom obsessors
     Freed prisoners from the pen
Have now come to this once beautiful glen
Show what you were born to do
     Righteous murderers, that’s you

     Keep the peace
     Hounds on a leash
     Hold the French quarter
     Wait for the order
     Moving to protect the state
Hoping that you won’t be late

     Complete public disobeyal
Over a small thing so frail
     Plot the points
     Break some joints
     Send in the military
     Government loves to be arbitrary

The news crews picked it up
In the battle zone they constantly duck
Plumes of smoke from molten lead
Striking dirt and men in the head
Snipers call out from the roof above
This town will never need a dove

     See those Honda civics burning
The audience truly must be churning
Gangs running free in the streets
     Breaking windows, stealing jeeps
You don’t have to be here to spy it
     All people hail the riot.
Yet another poem.

This is a reference to what happened during the time New Orleans was underwater.

The people you follow are, in order:
A prisoner who has just escaped from jail because of the flooding
A police officer
Negative view of the Military
A news crew
A rioter

Note: I could have sworn obsessor and disobeyal were words, blame my pennsylvania-dutch heritage XD
